Educational exhibition "Discovering ancient theatre"

At the beginning of December 2015, in a specially designed space of the Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Museum, began the operation of the educational exhibition "Discovering ancient theatre".

The exhibition was implemented by the Directorate of Museums of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports within the framework of the Operational Program "Education and Lifelong Learning" and was co financed by Greece and the European Union.

 

 

The Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Museum

Since 1976 on the foothills of Acropolis in a neoclassical mansion in Plaka area is housed the Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Museum. The exhibition halls host more than 6.000 items dating from the Prehistoric to the Modern era, highlighting the diachronic continuity of Greek art.
